There is not even a stone chip on this car and it can sit with the tail out right round bends then pulls effortlessly back into line on q. The 19mpg isn’t so good, though. I bought this for a
break from the Lotus around 2001 as it was constantly being hassled by the Police, and it turned out to be a great drive, virtually silent running and the condition is a credit to the previous owners,
being a 1991 car. The spec follows:
Original BMW M535i, white, M-tec bodykit, grey sports interior, on-board computer, 235bhp with limited slip diff, manual sport gearbox, 17" BBS alloys, full BMW service history, new Bilstein
sportpak suspension, new ATE discs/pads/sensors all round, clear lenses, immaculate throughout, CD, TC, PAS, EW, ES.
All good stuff, but I only kept it 2 months then got bored with it. It confirmed to me that I really enjoy cars I’ve built around myself much more.
